Now in his 33rd year within Financial Services, the past 31 years as an Independent Financial Adviser, Liam has built up a large and loyal client base of both private and corporate clients. This is in no small part due to his belief and commitment to establishing a long term relationship with his client's and to providing a professional service to them.

Clients understand that their circumstances will change over time and they need someone who can guide them throughout these changes whenever they may occur."

This overriding principle of building a long term relationships has helped build a successful business with clients referring family and friends to Liam over many years through personal recommendations.

Liam has also developed relationships with other professional connections, e.g. Accountants and Solicitors, who have also introduced their clients to Liam but who also provide resources for ancillary service which Liam can offer his clients should the need arise.

Although a general practitioner, Liam has particular specialism in pre and post Retirement Planning, Investments and Inheritance Tax Planning.

Liam and Neil work very closely together and have often collaborated on cases together utilising their combined 60 years+ experience within Financial Services.

Neil joined the Financial Services Industry in 1986 and has been an Independent Adviser (IFA) since 1989. He prides himself on his friendly and professional approach dealing with Corporate clients, smaller family run businesses and personal clients. Neil has built up a substantial client bank and receives regular referrals from existing clients with whom he has developed close, long-term relationships.

Initially he was responsible for running his own practice, but the need to develop a bespoke service led to the formation of MAP Financial Solutions Ltd in 2009 along with Liam Loughrey, whom he had worked with closely for several years previously.

Neil realise's not only the importance of providing advice and guidance to clients, but also the need to supply a high level of on-going service to meet the demands of clients and their ever changing needs.
As part of the overall service he has been responsible for the development of Standard Portfolios specifically for the use of MAP clients in the investment and pension markets and he is currently developing the use of external Managed Portfolio Services with leading Discretionary Fund Managers to meet the requirements to meet new and forthcoming stringent regulatory requirements.

The website development, client seminars, introduction of Standard Portfolios, use of a back office database specifically developed for our clients and a highly qualified and attentive administration team has resulted in the high standards that the directors looked to achieve when MAP was formed.

Neil is also qualified as a Pension Transfer Specialist, which is an area that is in high demand as individual clients look to plan towards taking retirement benefits as flexibly as possible. As a Chartered Financial Planner, he has achieved one of the highest financial qualifications available to IFAs and sets high standards for others to try to follow.
